Chef's Delight

The last book in a great series, The New Years Eve Club. Heather is the last of her friends to find her a man. She has watched all her best friends find wonderful matches. Or  Teresa Carpenter is a great author. She did a wonderful job bringing the series to a close. And now it looks like her life is falling apart. He father, whom she moved home to help take care of and run the family diner, has unexpectedly gotten married and decided to move away with his high school sweetheart. This send Heather for a loop. And on top of the he sells the diner! To her new neighbor, the "former Navy Seal".

This man is HOT! Joss (what a name! I love it). Even though this man is hot and sends Heather into a hot mess everytime he is near, she has vowed to never date the boy (well I should say man) next door ever again.

These two push each others buttons everytime they are near. But Joss has bought the diner, and he really has no clue what he is doing. So he makes a compromise with Heather (thanks to her dad). Heather is a woman of action and when Joss starts telling her of his plans for the diner, she quickly puts them into action.

Of course these two are destined to become a pair. You will just have to read the book yourself to see how it all plays out. And when you get to the end you will see how everyone of them has paired up.

This series was great.  I like how there was different authors for each book. They did a fabulous job working together on the New Years Eve Club. I look forward to more books by all these authors.

Garnier Triple Nutrition

Garnier Triple Nutrition is a breakthrough in moisturizing for hair, body and face (at only $5.99 a bottle). I received a bottle of Garnier Triple Nutrition from Bzzagent to try and report on. While I love how it moisturizes my skin (and God knows with the harsh winter weather it is hard to keep your skin moisturized), I was not thrilled with the way it made my hair look.

I sprayed some Triple Nutrition on my damp hair after a shower and it did made it smoother and easier to brush out. However, once my hair completely dried it left it looking greasy. Which for me was a big turn off.

Using it on my legs after a shave left them feeling wonderful and hydrated. It did not leave them feeling greasy nor did it leave my hands feeling greasy after applying it.

(before on left, after on right)

As far as using it on your face, well that I will leave up to you. I have some dry spots on my face that I liberally applied the Triple Nutrition to and it helped them look much better.

So as far as the Garnier Triple Nutrition goes I would give it a definate thumbs up for body and face use and I would recommend you try it out on your hair on a day you have time to rewash if it leaves you feeling greasy (as some may have different results on their hair than I did).

Deadline: Romance

Another installment to the New Years Eve Club books. Deadline: Romance is all about finding love in the face of personal struggles. Emma Ross is facing some major health issues and while she wants to find love she just doesn't know if she can saddle another person with her health concerns. That is until she meets the millionaire Daniel while on assignment. In the face of all the struggles she has he sweeps her off her feet.

Diane Saenger did a wonderful job with this installment of the New Years Eve Club.
