Loving Mick

The group gets together every New Years Eve to reminisce about the past year and 10 years prior made a list of expectations for their perfect husbands. Of the group only 2 have been married and their husbands didn't come close to being perfect. How is Jessie suppose to tell her friends that her husband is a cheater and has left her and their kids for a slut? She has given up on love but for the fun of it she helps the group make a new list for the perfect husband and goes along with the crazy idea to meet up again next New Years Eve with said perfect man.

Then Jessie meets Mick when her son wanders off. Little does she know that this man is going to turn her world upside down and change how she feels about love. With the fear of getting close to another cheating man she carefully engages in a "fling" with Mick.

I can't wait to get my hands on the rest of this series and see how the other girls fair with finding their "perfect husband".

I received this book free from the author for my true and honest opinion.

Glade Expressions

I  recently got selected by Bzzagent to review the Glade Expressions mist and diffusers. Now I am a strictly Scentsy girl when it comes to making my house smell good. So I was on the fence about whether I would like these or not. So once my package came with my coupons to go get one of each for free off to Walmart I went to see what scents they had. Of course my husband had to have a say in what scent I chose (and so did the kids, yes it was a family affair).

So we chose 2 different scents. I got the Pineapple & Mangosteen diffuser starter set.

Now I was hesitant about this scent from hearing other people say they did not care for it. However my husband said it reminded him of the beach so it came home with us. Our bathroom is always a source of weird smells so I put the diffuser in there to help keep it smelling better. I must say I was pleasantly surprised at home much I enjoyed the smell. The first couple of days you could smell the Pineapple/Mangosteen thru most of our house. Which was fine with us as it did have a nice beachy sort of smell to it. It is now a permanant fixture in the bathroom (and just about in need of a refill!). And it's pretty too!

For our Glade Expressions Mist we choose the Lavander & Juniper Berry Mist.

This mist has a nice soft scent. We use it  in the car on a regular basis. I like something with a little stronger of a scent for the house. But in a small space like the car it works great.

All in all I was really surprised that I enjoyed the mist and diffuser as much as I have. We will definatly be keeping the diffuser in the bathroom for a long time to come. As for the mist....well we  may need to try the different scents until we find one that fits just right.

Crafting in the hospital

My son is stuck in the hospital for a few days getting IV antibiotics, one of rhe many joys of CF. So while he is stuck here that means I am too. 😜

We brought games and some crafts. I brought my yarn to work on some crochet projects. I haven't done a bit of what I planned on doing but I have started a couple other projects. One is my sons color block blanket, which I will share later. The other are these flowers to go on something for my daughter. Not sure what they will go on yet, but they were super easy and turned out perfect.

Norwegian Formula® Hand Cream has been the best weapon in the fight against damaged skin for 40 years. But Norwegian Formula® has become more than a tool for elements-exposed fishermen — it can extend the life of manicures, too. Applying even small amounts of this hyper concentrated, glycerin-rich cream to hands, nails and lips can undo seasons of damage to weary skin and improve the look and feel of nails. In fact, Neutrogena’s Norwegian Formula® Hand Cream has proven so effective at repairing and protecting skin that it earned a 2012 Good Housekeeping Seal.

My first review for Bzzagent was for Neutrogena Norwegian Hand Cream Formula. This hand cream is fantastic. It is thick and smooth. It doesn't leave a greasy residue on your hands. It heals rough chapped hands fast. It even worked great on my psoriasis (it calmed the itching and helped moisten the patchy areas).
I added it my hand care regimen, morning and night I would apply the hand cream to my hands, and to my feet (worked great on those rough heel patches too!)

I would recommend this product to everyone, especially those who work out in the cold harsh wind. It coats your hands nicely to protect them against the damaging environment.
